New Principal

Mrs Forshaw is leaving us as Principal to take up the post of Executive Principal of The Olive School, Preston.

Mrs Forshaw has been a measured and purposeful leader of the school helping our children to achieve excellent results in assessment of the Early Years Foundation Stage and in phonics screening tests.  As she takes up the new role at our sister school in Preston, we wish her every success.

I am delighted to inform you that the Trust has appointed Mrs Saeed, the current Deputy Headteacher of Olive School, as the new Principal.  Mrs Saeed is an experienced school leader, with experience of working with children and parents since the school opened. Mrs Saeed will ensure that the strategies and approaches already established at The Olive School, Bolton are sustained so that there will be no major changes for parents or children. Mrs Saeed and Mrs Forshaw will continue to work closely, as colleague Headteachers as part of the Primary Headteacher Executive, and they are both looking forward to the new challenge of their respective roles.

Opportunities for parents and carers to meet with Mrs Saeed and myself will be organised early in the Spring Term.

Thank you for your continued support of our school and our efforts for the children at The Olive School, Bolton.
