Superb Success of Pupil Shura’s Enterprise Day

Pupil Shura (School Council) have been very busy planning their next venture. Following requests from pupils, they have planned to create a ‘Peace Garden’, in a corner of our playground.

But all great ideas need funding!

Determined to raise £500 to buy plants, planters and some seating, Pupil Shura presented their plans to Mrs Saeed, for a two-day Enterprise Project. They even wrote to Parents asking for their support in fundraising for this worthy project. The whole school (including teaching staff) were split into their House Teams: Service, Teamwork, Ambition and Respect.

Each team was tasked by Pupil Shura to create two items to sell – a food item and a novelty item. The teams became very competitive indeed! Popcorn, chocolate bark, mini-donuts, candyfloss, sweet-cones, stress balls, squishies, car fresheners, tasbeehs, slime and milkshakes were just some of the delightful items on sale. Do see our Twitter Feed for photographs!

Each House demonstrated superb ambition and teamwork and the event was a phenomenal success! £1000 was raised! AMAZING!
